My client are recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is focused around Software Development and supporting external clients in the successful implementation of a variety of products available to them.
This role offers fully flexible working from a Manchester based office and if you are someone who enjoys working on a variety of short, sharp projects, this role could be for you!
Client Details
My client are an exciting, private equity backed organisation, that have doubled in size over the past 2 years. With over 100 employees currently, there is a real desire to transition from a start-up mentality into a mindset where they can drive growth and scale.
With technology at the forefront of everything they do, they have a client base that spans the not for profit sector and are looking for someone to join their Project Management function and help to implement new products across their client base.
Description
95% of this role is centred around external clients; working with operational members of their team, as well as the internal technical teams within your organisation, to implement key products effectively and efficiently. If you are someone who has successfully delivered for clients, within the Software Development space, then this role could absolutely be for you!
You will own each project from a delivery perspective, utilising internal resource to help deliver. As this is a Senior role, you will be expected to work on a number of different projects at any one time, that vary in terms of size and complexity.
There are junior members of the team and you will be expected to help mentor and coach them to help further their careers and strengthen the team capability.
Profile
The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of Project Management experience, within the Software Development space. You may have worked within an organisation where software is built by in-house teams or you may have strong experience working on integration/implementation projects with software that has been bought into the business.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a commercial mindset and be able to give strong examples of where they have previously delivered projects effectively to time, budget and scope. Cultural fit is a huge factor in relation to choosing the successful candidate- are you a go getter? Are you someone who is happy to get stuck in regardless of the size or scale of the projects?
This role is ideal for someone who has worked in a small-medium sized organisation at some point within their career and is able to juggle multiple projects at once.
My client are looking for someone with an APM certification.
