Applause IT are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager, with a background in investment management, to join a well-established IT consultancy, the end user client operating within the financial services sector. We are looking for Project Managers to be based out of either London or Edinburgh.
As Senior Project Manager, you'll lead and supervise investment management projects for the consultancy's clients, managing the entire lifecycle. You will be working closely with investment teams to maximise asset performance and improve returns while minimising risks, and build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
You will be responsible for identifying any project risks and taking proactive measures to mitigate them, and preparing detailed project status reports and presentations customised to meet the specific needs of senior management. The role will see you collaborating with a variety of cross-functional teams, such as investment analysts, compliance officers, and IT professionals, to achieve project success.
The successful Senior Project Manager should have:
- Proven experience in managing investment projects throughout the entire lifecycle, and collaborating with investment teams in Financial Services.
- Previous experience working in an enterprise scale environment.
- Familiar with asset management trends and up to date with new technology.
- Experience working with Jira or similar, as well as financial software and data analytics platforms.
- Experience in stakeholder management, and engaging directly with clients.
