Our client is a Med Devices Technology company passionate about developing diagnostic solutions. Diagnostics provide testing and solutions at the point of need.
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning and implementation of projects across the company through budgeting, resource management and planning the project release.
This is a key juncture for the business as they transition from R&D to production phases.
Responsibilities:
- The Senior Project Manager will assess progress and ensure on time delivery of projects
- Coordinate and liaise with the project teams including externally, and internally ensuring excellent communication between teams/management
- Develop project plans as well as identify issues and work with the team to resolve as well as identify resource and budgetary needs
- Implement and monitor key project processes, partnering with the teams to make improvements and revisions
- The Senior Project Manager will host, lead and attend key projects meetings to monitor progress, collaborate on solving problems and communicate impact
- Implement project procedures and ensure that procedures are observed
- Aid the delivery of projects to time and within budget
- Maintain Gantt Charts and project plans, tracking deliverables and budgets
- Work with the commercial team to track existing grants and provide relevant information to support grant applications
- Responsibility for delivering feasibility and development projects on time and in budget
- Maintain extensive project plans with external suppliers effectively and highlight any deviations in timing or budget
- Work within the Quality Systems and Policies
Skills:
- Project Management in life science or medical devices
- Project Management experience in a production environment would be an advantage
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project or similar PM systems
- APM Competencies and PM Certification or equivalent (e.g. AGILE, SCRUM, Prince2 etc.)
- Knowledge of MS packages
- Hybrid home and office working available (some home working)
