Role Purpose:
Provide necessary services, support and advice to Project Management and project team as regards project planning and scheduling, progress monitoring and reporting, and coordination of integrated schedule.
Initiate, implement and maintain planning and control systems to ensure that progressing and monitoring of the project are carried out in accordance with Harbour Energy project policies and timelines.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain overall integrated master project schedule, working closely with project team and other relevant parties.
- Develop and update detailed project schedules in cooperation with contractors, emitters and project team, ensuring schedule integrity and compliance with procedures.
- Work closely with the contractors to ensure schedule evaluated correctly, schedule integrity maintained throughout project and schedule delivered as set out in the contract (i.e. baseline and subsequent changes agreed in correct manner).
- Work as an integrated part of the Project Controls team ensuring cost/schedule/risking are aligned along with Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Object Breakdown Structure (OBS).
- Leading monthly planning meetings both internally and with contractors.
- Track weekly/monthly project progress relative to schedule to detect deviations and progressing deviations early (including productivity, manning levels etc.). Advise project team on how these might be mitigated and work with project team and contractor to minimise impacts.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports with Project Controls team including project progress, milestones, schedule deviation, S curves and histograms.
- Prepare schedule for risk analysis and work with Project Controls team in the cost & schedule risking exercise.
- Educator of others in the project/contractors/third parties on value of good planning.
- Develop what if scenarios for project build out for addition of future T&S facilities and emitter connections.
- Maintain project schedule benchmarking data.

Critical skills
- Bachelor degree (BEng, B.Sc.) or equivalent education. Less formal education may be compensated with documented relevant experience.
- Significant major project experience within project planning/scheduling in multiple projects (preferably including operator/contractor/site experience, onshore and offshore)
- Technical competency in planning and procedures. Ability to set up and maintain planning systems and ensure these are complied with in the project.
- Good knowledge and experience of planning & risking software, principally P6 & Pertmaster but also MS Project and Excel.
- Self-starter with excellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills, will need to work extensively with both internal & external parties.
- Flexibility – project has many interfaces which can move the schedule on a regular basis – need to be adaptable to change and available to travel to support project requirements.
