About the Role:
- Work as part of a cross functional agile team to ensure quality, identify and resolve system malfunctions, test code and debug problems to create a world class product
- Work closely with product and tech teams to conduct tests during the end-to-end lifecycle of Doddle products, to ensure everything works according to our client needs
- Proactively communicate issues and problems to the team
- Collaborate in requirement design, specifications, and technical decisions
- Design, develop and execute automated testing frameworks
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and upskill the team to implement solutions. Collaboration with the tech team on how they approach testing, guiding design of development test automation suites.
- Work with the engineering leadership to identify improvements to department-wide testing strategy. Work with and guide the existing testing team with any changes
- Take a pro-active role in helping to define test strategy and best practices for all teams
Your experience:
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance and software development
- A background in testing automation, TDD and CI/CD is desirable
- Knowledge of QA methodology, tools, processes and industry-standard testing and automation tools with a focus on android products
- Solid experience in designing and executing clear, concise and comprehensive automated test plans and test cases
- Experience in performance, regression and UI testing
- Knowledge and experience of Javascript, Android, APIs and SQL
- Strong communication skills, both spoken and written, to communicate with both technical and non-technical parts of the business and stakeholders
