SRG are working with a global leader in the biopharmaceutical space to help them find a Senior QC Analyst to join their growing team.

Main responsibilities:
- Carry out analytical procedures, for testing of raw materials, in process products, bulk drug substance, final products and stability products according to defined by SOP´s, and protocols
- Apply best cGMP work-practices and techniques to test and release raw materials, in process products, bulk drug substance, final products and stability products within specification
- Ensure that all QC analysts are trained and competent in the procedures they are carrying out and maintain compliance with appropriate guidelines and policies
- Escalate any deviations and issues to the QC Manager
- Conduct reporting and analysis of data
- Be accountable for the analytical laboratories being clean, tidy and well organized and in a state of continuous inspection readiness
- Issue, manage and close-out deviations, change controls, OOS or SST investigations and CAPA´s in a timely fashion
- Identify areas for continuous improvement and escalate those to the QC Manager
- Actively contribute to the development and maintenance of an enthusiastic, supportive and collaborative environment within the team-setting
- Support the installation, qualification and periodic review of equipment
- Support the transfer of new methods and processes into Quality Control
Skills/Experience Required:
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline
- Extensive experience in QC Analytical techniques such as UV, HPLC, FTIR and will be able to demonstrate previous effective experience in a similar environment
- Prior experience working in a regulated GxP environment is essential
- Experience of investigating deviations and out of spec results and implementing subsequent actions
- Experience of supervising more junior members of a team and/or delegating workloads would be beneficial
- Methodical and strong problem solver
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements and needs of the business
