Senior Qc Microbiologist

Walker Cole International is seeking a Senior QC Microbiologist for a UK-based pharmaceutical company. This newly created position aims to bolster the company's capability within their NDP portfolio, in response to increased product demand.

Responsibilities:

• Perform environmental monitoring of NDP clean rooms and controlled environments according to current schedules and manufacturing activities.
• Conduct microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process, and final products for microbial contamination within required time frames.
• Identify and initiate investigations for out of specification (OOS) and out of trend (OOT) results, unplanned events, and change controls.
• Review lab methods against current pharmacopoeia and licence requirements for ongoing compliance.

Requirements:

• A degree (or equivalent) in a Biological Science subject, with a preference for Microbiology.
• Previous experience in a pharmaceutical microbiological laboratory.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and US/EU cGMPs.
