Senior Quality Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join a specialist equipment company in Hampshire.

Working in the compliance team, the purpose of your role is to ensure compliance and continuous improvement from a quality perspective on site. Responsibilities include:

· Quality improvement

· Liaising with other departments to provide expertise in the area of quality.

· Cross-functional program management.

· Supplier management.

· Root cause investigation and CAPA.

· Managing non-conformances.

· Auditing to ISO9001.

· Monitoring and improving KPIs.

· Building and implementing ISO 9001 supplier audit schedule.

· Equipment calibration.

· QMS updating and maintenance.

Successful candidates will ideally be educated to degree level or high Engineering or a closely related subject. They will have experience working in a similar role within a manufacturing environment and have experience working with suppliers. Other require skills include Kaizen, 8D, 5Y, Lean, FMEA, etc. Auditor experience and lead auditor certification is also needed in the role.
