A leading business that supplies remanufacturered automotive assemblies to major OEMs is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join their team. The business started off with remanufacturing of OEM front and rear-wheel drive manual transmission. The business also supports a number of new OEM re-manufacturing programmes.
Your new role
As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will need to support the QHSE manager to maintain the industry standards (ISO9001, ISO14001 and IATF16949) and also support the production team in maintaining high product and service standard. You will be required to support in maintaining the QMS and also on the New Product Introduction. You will also be expected to ensure that any non-conformities raised are managed effectively by means of clear and confident leadership and applying their engineering and quality system knowledge to any and all issues raised.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application for the Senior Quality Engineer role, you will have quality experience in IATF16949 or ISO9001 or AS9100 and work in a manufacturing environment. You will also have knowledge and experience of measuring or inspection, have been involved in supporting audits previously, or have experience of problem-solving tools (8D, 5Whys). You should also have good people\'s skills, be able to communicate effectively at all levels and have confidence to enforce quality procedures where necessary.
What you'll get in return
Upon securing the Quality Engineer role, you\'ll be offered a salary of up to £35,000 - £40,000, depending upon your experience. In addition to your salary, you\'ll also receive a number of benefits.
