Salary: £45,326-£49,834 dependent of skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Working with the Quality team and programmes to deliver the internal Audit Plan
- Holding the internal auditor approval
- Ensuring root cause investigations and actions are implemented effectively within a suitable timeframe
- Managing the FalconWorks® management system
- Supporting 3rd party audits
- Undertaking document review
- Writing concise and accurate reports to a high standard
- Carrying out onsite audits across different BAE Systems sites, this role will involve some travel across the UK
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
- Internal Quality Auditor qualification
- Extensive experience of carrying out internal audits in fast moving organisations
- Knowledge of ISO9001 and other relevant international standards
- Working autonomously and independently
Desirable
- Quality or Engineering experience
- Knowledge of AS9100 rev D
- Apprenticeship or degree in a STEM Discipline

The FalconWorks® Quality Team:
The FalconWorks Quality Assurance Team work on a wide range of future aircraft and technology projects including Tempest, GCAP and autonomous platforms. As a Senior Quality Engineer working withinthis team, you will be responsible for the local management system and managing the local internal audit schedule. You will work closely with the wider FalconWorks Quality organisation as well as stakeholders within the central Quality function, other functional areas (Engineering, Procurement and Project Managers) and the FalconWorks projects to deliver an internal audit plan, manage non-conformances and ensure the management system remains effective.
FalconWorks is a fast paced environment that requires flexibility, and the ability to travel to other BAE sites in the United Kingdom. Here you will come into contact with some of your internal stakeholders that you will build relationships with in what is a rapidly growing part of the BAE Systems business.
