Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Lead the quantity surveying function for roofing projects from inception to completion.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct comprehensive cost analysis, including tendering, procurement, and contract administration.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure effective cost management and project delivery.
• Assess and mitigate commercial risks, implementing strategies to optimize project outcomes.
• Provide accurate and timely financial reports and forecasts to stakeholders.
• Oversee contractual agreements and variations, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a focus on roofing projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost management principles.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as MS Excel, CostX, or similar.
• RICS chartered status or equivalent professional qualification is desirable.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and analytical mindset, with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
