Job Duties & Responsibilities

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will assume a key role within the commercial team, overseeing various aspects of project management and financial control. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising the generation of Take-Offs and procurement processes
• Negotiating and securing accurate quotes for materials from suppliers and subcontractors
• Spearheading the pricing, preparation, and submission of quotations
• Managing and verifying subcontractor applications and payments
• Overseeing pricing and submission of variations
• Collaborating on the preparation of valuations and financial reports
• Mentoring and providing guidance to junior members of the commercial team

Location/Travel

This position is based in Colchester, with occasional travel to project sites across Essex/East Anglia as required.
