Up to £42,000.00 per annum depending on experience plus enhancements

As a qualified practitioner working in the Theatre department, you will support the management and quality of care from post op to recovery, working collaboratively and ensuring relevant training and auditing. You gain from working with leading consultants and a great team, as well as have CPD to support your development. Making up part of a multi-disciplinary team, you'll bring your experience, leadership skills and enthusiasm for patient care to the role. It starts with you.
Our specialities include Women's and Men's health, Orthopaedics, and Eye Care with many more available. We are registered for 27 beds with en-suite facilities on the Ward, two Theatres with facilities including lamina flow and one Minor Operating Theatre, Pre-Assessment, Physiotherapy clinic, Onsite Pharmacy, Mammography, Xray and Ultrasound, with nine consulting rooms in Outpatients.
As a Clinical Leader - Theatre, you will:
Support and assist in the management and organisation of care provision within the theatre department. Working in collaboration with other senior team members within the theatre suite
Lead and direct the team delivering care in the recovery area; this will include training, recruitment, day to day line management
Provide quality planned care for our patients during the immediate post operative phase of their journey.
Instrumental in auditing and monitoring the quality of care
Work flexibly where required to include participating on the on-call rota
Work closely with leading consultants and other like-minded professionals, who will respect and value what you bring to the close-knit multidisciplinary team.
As a Clinical Leader - Theatre, you will have:
Wealth of experience in recovery or other high care areas
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to direct and lead a team
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a qualified practitioner with suitable positions held within that period
Current NMC or HCPC registration.
ICU experience preferable
