The main duties of the Senior Registered Nurse - Oncology role include:
- Ensure consistent maintenance of patient care standards in line with operational policies. Work towards enhancing customer service and satisfaction for service users.
- Advocate for the well-being of patients, employees, and consultants, guiding junior team members.
- Step in for the Sister/Charge Nurse when necessary during clinical shifts.
- Guarantee personalized patient care, striving for exceptional individualized standards.
- Advocate for patient safety, demonstrating bravery in addressing care concerns.
- Maintain professionalism aligned with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) Codes of professional Conduct and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
What we are looking for in a successful candidate:
- Registered Nurse qualification and current registration with the NMC
- Possession of Mentorship Qualification (ENB 998 or equivalent).
