Job description

Dudley Building Society is dedicated to providing exceptional services to our customers. And we are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Regulatory Reporting Analyst.
As a Senior Regulatory Reporting Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Regulatory Reporting Manager to oversee and manage the Society's Regulatory Reporting function. You will be responsible for collaborating on the completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reports and contributing to the development and automation of new and existing reporting submissions. The role involves detailed variance analysis, acting as the first reviewer in the absence of the Regulatory Reporting Manager, and ensuring compliance with Regulatory Reporting policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete regulatory returns with precision and within defined deadlines, adhering to the Regulatory Reporting Policy.Conduct detailed variance analysis for all regulatory returns, providing insights and recommendations.Assume the role of the first reviewer when necessary, for returns prepared by the Regulatory Reporting and Data Analyst.Ensure all Regulatory Reporting Framework documents are meticulously completed and updated in alignment with process changes.Integrate automation into the production process of Regulatory Reporting, enhancing efficiency for working files and variance analysis.Take ownership of continuous improvement initiatives for all Regulatory Reporting procedures, ensuring best practices are maintained.In exchange for working for one of the top 25 organisations in the Midlands, here's what we're looking for:
Accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA) Preferred but not essentialSubstantial experience in Regulatory Reporting within the financial services industry.Profound knowledge of Regulatory Reporting frameworks, policies, and procedures.Proven experience in implementing automation solutions for reporting processes is preferred.Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on detailed variance analysis.Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
