Purpose of the Senior Relationship Director - Property Development Finance;

The Senior Relationship Director - Property Development Finance will be responsible for raising the profile of the organisation across the region in the Real Estate space, liaising with brokers & introducers to promote the organisation & educate the market as to their appetite.

You will originate Property Development & related specialist lending applications & take through to completion and manage all aspects of the broker and case pipelines.

The Senior Director, Property Development Finance is responsible for making suitable recommendations to the Bank’s credit function to enable growth of the lending book in line with business strategy, whilst ensuring that all loan applications are completed within policy and criteria. The role holder will play a significant part in managing introducer relationships and key accounts.

Key responsibilities of the Senior Relationship Director - Property Development Finance:

New Business

• Generate business through the Bank’s methods and own initiatives and maintain contact through meetings and client / site visits.
• Encourage flow of renewal business where appropriate
• Maintain efficient and professional service, and good customer/banker relationship
• Responsibility for ongoing relationship and risk management including identification of risk situations and control of overdue loans

Skills & Experience required for the Senior Relationship Director - Property Development Finance

• Experience within the Property Development finance sector to include presentation of applications to Board level.
• A good understanding of general Banking credit processes
• Proven ability to extract key financial information for individuals, partnerships and companies
• Proven ability to analyse and interpret financial statements and cash flows
• Proven negotiation and structuring skills and experience in writing and presenting high quality lending submissions
• Ability to work on own initiative, in a high volume, fast paced environment, maintaining personal motivation, drive and successful performance.
• A proven ability to originate and execute new lending proposals, operating within the lending policies of the bank
• High level of communication skills
• Ability to develop strong relationships with customers, brokers and other professional partners
