Senior Research Engineer

Location: Bristol (3 days on site / 2 days remote)

Duration: 12 Months

Start Date: ASAP

A client based in Bristol is looking for several Senior Research Engineer, this will be for an initial 12 month contract.

The Build Teams that are defining the test hardware requirements to integrate the test hardware into Test rigs that the individual will have designed.

The test rigs will be testing items with physical loads, electrical systems - most of which will involve a cryogenic element achieved through use of cold gas.

A designer with a flexible and broad-based engineering background is preferred with experience designing & integrating demonstration experimental rigs.

Familiarity with HV & LV wiring & connector selection / integration cryogenics and Hydrogen installations would be beneficial for the role.

Structural interfaces

Hardware selection

BOMs

Instrumentation

Structural analysis

Electrical requirements

Safety
