About the Role We wish to recruit a Senior Research Fellow to provide support for the laboratory at Nottingham Business School (NBS). We are looking for a researcher that will conduct their own research, support and run the laboratory at NBS. The main tasks will be to support the research team using the laboratory and conducting field experiments. Among these tasks are: Consultation of researchers on experimental method Maintenance of technical laboratory infrastructure Development of procedures and rules for laboratory use Administration of the online recruitment system and participants Support of ethics approval processes Organisational support for running experiments Administrative support for the director of centre for behavioural science Active involvement with stakeholders and team members Training of team members in software and procedures Programming experiments and Data management Statistical data analysis We are looking for research expertise in experimental and behavioural economics, ideally a strong background in experimental research and quantitative methods. Applicants should have a PhD in the relevant discipline, and preferably some postdoctoral experience. As a Lab Manager you will work on all aspects of research and the editorial process involved in data collection, writing and publishing. A broad understanding of social sciences, excellent literary skills, the ability to appreciate and engage in new areas of research, and a keen interest in the practice and communication of research impacts are essential.
