£25,546 starting salary raising to £28,343 based on incremental pay progression
£87.50 per sleep in bonus - 4-5 sleeps per month
25% uplift working weekends
37.5 hours per week
One of Partners in Care recruitment leadings clients is a not-for-profit charitable trust. They are recruiting for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join the team at their home in Salford, Greater Manchester.
This is a 4-bedroom home supporting children with learning difficulties. The children across the organisation have a variety of difficulties for which they will need varying levels of support.
To provide the required care, the staff team will work shifts allocated by the Registered Manager or delegated deputy, including weekends, evenings, and the young people's annual holidays. Escorting young people to school and appointments, you will need to hold a full UK driving license. Ideally have your own vehicle but there will be access to a vehicle.
You will need to have a Level 3 in children, young people and families practitioner or equivalent.
Significant residential childcare experience.
Evidence of continuing professional development.
Must have exposure to working a multi-disciplinary approach to meeting clinical, physical and emotional needs. Flexibility to respond to the needs of the unit and young people. Ability to motivate, supervise, and appraise staff, ensuring that training and development needs are met. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a high standard of oral and written English
