Job description

If you’re a Reward Manager looking for a new challenge, in an environment where you can shape and influence the reward strategy as part of an HR function that is going through a period of evolution then this role could be for you. Reporting to the Chief People Officer of this private equity backed business, you will take the lead on the business wide reward strategy and service delivery and will become a key figure in creating principles to support engagement, retention, and motivation of employees across the UK.
The role will have all of the key components you would expect to see in a lead reward role: strategy, cyclical activity including pay review and bonuses, governance, benchmarking, benefits provisions and internal comms. Is this a role where you pick up from someone else and maintain the current offering? No. There will undoubtedly be legacy frameworks, processes and policies that you will inherit, some of which have been recently implemented that are fit for purpose but, as you spend more time in the business, you will spot opportunities for further improvement and where you can identify spaces for improving the effectiveness of pay and reward provisions.
You will navigate a commercial business landscape, build effective relationships, and pull together meaningful, tangible plans to deliver change and improvement, sometimes in areas where there are currently few future focused initiatives.
