Senior Robotics Engineer

Senior Robotics Engineer required for my client based near to Bedford. My client specialises in the production of ultrasonic slicing systems and robotic applications and are in seek of an experienced Senior Robotics Engineer.

The successful Robotics Engineer will join an established automation company serving within the FMCG industry.

Senior Robotics Engineer Position Overview

* Confidently design and implement software for some or all aspects of capital machinery assemblies and sub-assemblies.
* Performing software design calculations where required; speed calcs, motor sizing, control equipment required to facilitate the application.
* Prepare technical documentation including producing machinery manuals and the technical file.
* Determining and implementing test criteria for automation productivity, safety, and reliability.
* Working with high and low voltage equipment and dealing with technical support and troubleshooting system errors for customers.

Senior Robotics Engineer Position Requirements

* Minimum 3 years' experience in robot software design and implementation within special purpose machinery / Automation.
* Experience of designing and commissioning code for ABB robot systems is essential.
* ABB robot programming experience on IRC5 controllers or Omnicore.
* Attend customer sites across the UK and internationally for machine installation & commissioning purposes, where required.
* Based within a commutable distance of Bedford or nearby areas.
* Hold a valid driving licence and passport.

Senior Robotics Engineer Position Remuneration

* Salary - £50,000 to £60,000 - dependent upon experience, skill and qualifications
* Full time position - Monday to Friday.
* 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
* 8% Non-contributory company pension (offered post probationary period).
* Mobile phone contribution up to £50.
* Gym contribution up to £50.
