Senior Safety Consultant - Nuclear

We are looking for a Senior Safety Consultant to work on a 12 month contract, possibly going longer, in Preston/Hybrid.
Our client is looking for someone with a strong background in nuclear and ideally holding SC Clearance (if this has lapsed they can renew).
Rate is £90-100 Ltd/Umbrella or PAYE equivalent per hour.
Main Responsibilities
Provide expert knowledge of Radiological Safety Assessment including being up to date with developments in methodology and approach.Technical delivery of projects to time, cost, quality, value and service requirementsProvide Radiological Safety assessment support to multi-disciplinary teams.
The Ideal Candidate
Degree qualified or equivalent level of demonstrable technical capability.SQEP 3 with 6-10 years' experience in Safety Assessment.Preferably Chartered Membership of a professional institution.Excellent level of knowledge in the specialised field of Safety Assessment, including knowledge of Sellafield Ltd Methodology.Detailed knowledge of advanced techniques.Proven ability to act independently, under own initiative, while supervising other members of the team.
