Senior Safety Officer

We are delighted to support our Client, Titan Airways, the Worldwide charter operator, in their search for a Senior Safety Officer to join their fast-paced and dynamic team.

They are the UK’s largest Charter and ACMI operator. They specialize in short-notice ACMI, wet lease operations, and ad-hoc passenger and cargo charter services to tour operators, corporations, governments, and the sports and entertainment sectors.

Role Requirements: 

MUST

• Have the right to live and work in the UK
• Be able to provide information to enable five-year referencing for an airside ID
• Be able to pass a pre-employment drugs and alcohol test
• Fully vaccinated against COVID (unless medically exempt)
• Articulate and accurate communication skills problem-solving and analytical skills
• The ability to liaise at all levels within the business with excellent interpersonal skills and empathetic qualities
• Fluency in MS Excel, Access
• Understanding of safety management databases, such as AQD, QPulse, Centrik

SHOULD

• Knowledge in investigative, and interviewing skills including Human Factors modelling (e.g., HFACs, Fault Tree Analysis, 5 Whys)
• Understanding risk management e.g. Hazard Logs, Risk Assessments and their principles such as Bow-Tie and ALARP
• Ideally three (3) years experience in the aviation industry, preferably in one of the following functional areas: Flight Operations, Maintenance, Ground Operations or an equivalent level of comparable experience or education

COULD

• Investigation report writing - including report writing to ICAO Annex Standard level
