Senior Sales Assistant

Overview:

Our client is a successful surface treatment production and distribution organisation. This is a great opportunity for a retail assistant or similar to step up and take on a more senior position in a new store in Edinburgh. The successful applicant will have experience in the trades distribution or retail DIY store industry.

Benefits and pay range:

• £30,000 per annum, Full time, permanent position
• Leith area
• Monday – Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm
• Training available

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Deliver on in-store orders, including quick delivery, head-office requests, assist with last mile delivery tasks and provide exceptional customer service
• Maintain store and machine standards including profit & loss, stock and customer accounts
• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar position and industry
• Computer and numerical literacy
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work calmly at busy times

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £30,000.00 per year

• Monday to Friday
