SENIOR SALES MANAGER

WHAT YOU WILL WANT TO KNOW...

    • Up to £75,000 per annum

Bonus potential up to 10% of salary

Car Allowance: £7,800 per annum

A SNAPSHOT OF OUR SENIOR SALES MANAGER'S DAY...

Reporting in to the Senior Director, you will be responsible for formulating and delivering the short and long term sales strategy for the organisation. Key duties will include -

  • Develop and manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls, and providing regular progress reports to senior managers. Develop SMART actions, analysing costs, activities and operations, forecasting data determining progress towards goals.
  • Proactively lead, manage, support and engage all reports taking responsibility for welfare, development, performance and compliance with company practices.
  • Provide customers with technical expertise as to product applications, current and future needs.
  • Use computer aided design software to develop electrical and product designs for customer quotes. Interface with engineering and manufacturing on prototypes.
  • Manage product portfolio, eliminating obsolete products and championing new products.
  • Monitor competitor activity and trends incorporating into strategic planning and activity.
  • Manage pricing strategy for products enhancing profitability and providing market competitive pricing. Interface with customers, engineering, and manufacturing to develop products that meet customers’ current and future needs.
  • Travel to customer locations for follow up, presentations or demonstrations.
  • Assist with preparation for and attendance at trade shows.
  • Work with Marketing to develop material for advertising purposes
  • Contribute to the wider Groups Sales business objectives and strategy.

Does this sound like a good fit for you?

  • Previous experience of delivering sales strategies in Europe/America as well as within the UK
  • Key account management and developing existing business
  • Managing and developing people to deliver against results.
  • Developing and delivering product pricing strategies.
  • Contract negotiation and management.
  • Experience of competitor analysis, identifying trends and implementing strategic sales plans
  • Technical experience of electronics, specifically electronic filters.
