Hays Technology are recruiting a Senior SAP Security & Authorisations Consultant to join a large public sector organisation in the Leeds area. You will be reporting to the SAP Manager working in a specialist SAP team working on the implementation of S4 HANA.
Your new role
As a Senior SAP Security Consultant, you will be joining the organisation as they embark on a transformation journey to S4 HANA. In your new role, you will be leading on SAP system security through an excellent understanding of governance, risk, and control, whilst working on the identification, selection, specification, and configuration of SAP functionality to enable delivery of the organisation's vision.
In the role, you will be providing analytical and technical skills, configuring expertise and business knowledge to support the wider business needs. You will be providing support for SAP Security and Authorisations handling incidents, undertaking investigation, working with colleagues to confirm bugs, adhering to change procedures and effectively document the changes.
What you'll need to succeed
Extensive experience of building SAP technical and functional roles based on design output, ideally in a project context including SAP security design, analysis, configuration, compliance, and implementationExtensive knowledge of SAP Security & GRC best practices, SAP Authorisation Concepts, Roles,Activity Groups, and User AdministrationAn understanding of information security management principles, SAP application security implementation methodologyExtensive experience of implementing SAP security Users and Roles in support of requirementsExtensive experience of managing SAP security in SAP ECC6 and S4 Hana
