A Senior Science Technician is needed in a Coeducational Secondary School & Sixth Form in Essex.

This Senior Science Technician post will be full time and long term/permanent.

Standard responsibilities will apply if you are appointed as a Senior Science Technician. This includes but isn't limited to; safely handling equipment/materials, efficiently setting up practical lessons and working as part of a team.

The rates of pay for this Senior Science Technician position will range from £90 to £130 a day, depending on the experiences and qualifications of each candidate.

The School

A 'Good' school specialising in Maths and Science.

It comes equipped with specialist labs for the teaching of both.

There are a range of clubs on offer to pupils at the school. Some of these are for Reading, Film, Dungeons & Dragons, Languages, Harry Potter, Board Games, Chess, Poetry, Food, STEM, Football, Netball, Art, Band, Basketball, Singing, Textiles and Rugby.

Requirements

Applications are welcome if you are a Science Graduate or experienced Senior Science Technician.

You are encouraged to apply if you are a British trained Senior Science Technician or overseas trained Senior Science Technician too.

• Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
• UK Science Degree or overseas equivalent
• Experience as a Senior Science Technician in UK schools
