KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• The Principal Risk Consultant will be responsible for developing security threat, vulnerability, and risk assessments for large scale projects.
• The Principal Risk Consultant will be tasked with developing security operational requirements that support the development of technical security designs.
• The development of security strategies and production of reports.
• The Principal Risk Consultant will be responsible for line managing and developing Junior Risk/ Security Consultants

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND 

• Qualified to MEng or BEng Degree level in Criminology, the Built Environment or a relevant subject.
• The Principal Risk Consultant will hold membership of an industry association such as the RSES or Security Institute or be actively working towards this.
• An understanding of the RIBA plan of work and security design’s place within this.
• An understanding of current initiatives within the industry such as SABRE
• Experience of working on large scale developments and construction projects.
