***Senior IT Service desk Engineer -Belfast - £30,000-£35,000***
REED are delighted to be working with a market-leading MSP provider within IT support, Due to expansion they currently looking for a Senior IT Service desk support technician to join their team.
As a senior IT Service desk support technician, you will have extensive knowledge in providing IT support within a client facing role. This is a great opportunity to work with a Microsoft Gold CSP!
Responsibilities
• Experience taking responsibility for day-to-day management of customers’ IT services including desktops and laptops; servers; networks; firewalls; patching, OS firmware, 3rd party software; external services, for example, Office 365.
• Experience ensuring best practices are upheld, e.g., security best practices, ensuring customer and internal policies and guidance are adhered to and documented / updated
• Experience applying all security and functional updates in a timely manner to meet requirements
• Undertaking roll back/disaster recovery experience.
• Experience with the following: Windows Server, Networking, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Exams, DHCP, IT Support, IT infrastructure, 1st line support, 2nd line support, 3rd line support, troubleshooting.
Essential Criteria
• 3yrs + years Msp experience
• 100% helpdesk moving to 60/40 helpdesk and field
• Ms 365 experience eg teams and sharepoint and modest networking
