Senior ServiceNow Developer

Role Overview:
Our client are seeking a talented Senior ServiceNow Developer to join their team. As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with Product Managers, Developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions to our clients. Initially, you will be engaged in an exciting program within a public sector client, where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact with your expertise. You will be responsible for coding, development, and ensuring the successful implementation of ServiceNow solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Design, develop, and customise ServiceNow solutions to meet client specifications.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior developers and team members.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
- Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features, enhancements, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a strong background in coding and development.
- Extensive knowledge of ServiceNow platform, including but not limited to ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and Service Portal.
- Experience working with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet client requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- ServiceNow certification(s) preferred.
- Prior experience working in a global consultancy or similar environment is a plus.
- Candidates must be eligible for UK security clearance.
- Candidates need to be able to get to West Yorkshire two days a week to work with colleagues and the end client.
