On that basis, we have a truly unique opportunity for a SHEQ professional to come in to a growing, diverse yet established business where you will be the Manager in charge of the SHEQ across the board, influencing each part of the business.

We have an established SHEQ professional in the business who is semi-retired and they will take you under their wing, pass on their knowledge and make sure you develop in to the senior professional you know you can.

The role:

As already mentioned, the role will be varied across the different business functions. To break this down, you will be based in Birkenhead in our production facility, where most of your work will take place. We also have an office "down south" that you will have jurisdiction over, as well as field based engineers across the UK.

Most of the role will be he H&S aspect, but around 20%-30% will be around the quality aspect, especially on the manufacturing side as well as the environmental aspects too.

We really feel that improvements can be made in all aspects and so we would want you to come in and share your ideas with us.

The person:

A lot of the role is based around the manufacturing site in Birkenhead (so manufacturing experience is good), but we also are looking for someone who maybe has some construction H&S experience too. This is as the field based engineers are installing bits of equipment (sometimes in confined spaces and some civils work), so that would be a huge benefit.

We feel this would be perfect for someone to "grow" in to under the guidance and with the assistance of one of our senior members, but you are given complete autonomy.
