Job Title: Senior Shift Electrical Engineer

Location: Bromsgrove area

4 on 4 off shift

£52 – 55k target overtime, pension and Bonus

4 on 4 off days nights rotating.

We are recruiting for a fast-paced multi-site manufacturer, a global leader, investing in people and assets.

We are searching for someone more skilled electrically and automation bias is the string preference for this hire.

Covering the team lead is a good opportunity for someone who doesn’t want a full-time team leader role but would like to work as a lead electrical or senior maintenance engineer on shift, developing electrical and sharing electrical automation knowledge to improve the plant and develop other maintenance engineers electrically.

• Recruiting for a Lead Electrical Engineer a Senior Engineering Technician with electrical bias
• Supporting the factory Shift engineering leads, acting as engineering out-of-hours point of contact for the site.
• Ensuring that work schedules are met, and any issues escalated in line with site procedures.
• To service adjust and repair process and production machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe and proper manner
• To examine machinery and equipment and report on condition, performance, and plan of action for improvements
• Carry out Planned and preventative maintenance to agreed schedules
• Work as part of a team to keep this site running to World Class Standards

• Ensure team compliance with CMMs and maintenance plan.
• Reprioritise work orders in line with prevailing shift performance.
• To escalate in-line site procedures for any no conformance or significant breakdown/failure and act as engineering point of contact.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards in workshop and ancillary areas.
• Encourage continuous improvement culture within the department and identify improvement projects in line with the Muller Excellence framework.
• Shift Handovers completed.

Role Requirements: Senior Shift Electrical Engineer

•Ideally advanced fault diagnosis/automation skills

•Comfortable with leading a 4-person engineering team from the front.

•Capable of coordinating maintenance activities to reduce machine downtime.

•Also capable of deputising for the Engineering Team Leader; responsible for attending site stakeholder meetings and coordinating Breakdown Analysis Reports.

Attracting an Electrical bias or electrically qualified Level 3 shift engineer

We are looking for talented and qualified individuals who are great problem solvers with continuous improvement ideas that will thrive in a proactive electrical bias and multi-skilled   frontline maintenance role.

• Or equivalent of any of the above in electrical or mechanical fields preferably with a manufacturing background
