First People Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a leading Civil Engineering contractor based in Dundee and Dunfermline. Our client, an employee-owned company with over 160 employees, undertakes civils projects valued between £500k and £10m across the Central Belt of Scotland.
Position:Senior Site Engineer
Location: Tayside and surrounding areas
Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Position Summary and Purpose: We are seeking a Senior Site Engineer with significant Civils experience to join our client's team, working on various size projects in Tayside and the surrounding area. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious candidate to join a forward-thinking contractor and be rewarded for their contributions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with customers, clients, and the design team to ensure correct and timely setting out information.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of all setting out information.
- Plan setting out in advance according to construction programmes.
- Coordinate public utilities and obtain records of existing services.
- Obtain permits and warrants.
- Assist site management with material take-offs.
- Comply with the company's Quality Procedure Manual.
- Supervise the quality of works as delegated by site management.
- Plan work areas, identifying requirements for temporary works and plant.
- Assist the commercial department in re-measuring works and ensuring additional works and design variations are recorded and reimbursed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by site management.
