Your new company
You will be joining a Tier 1 contractor based in Birmingham working on a major water framework in the Midlands region. This multi-accredited contractor has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector, and they offer excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Senior Site Engineer to work on sites in the Birmingham area.
Your new role
As Senior Site Engineer, you will be reporting to the Site Manager and be responsible for, but not limited to, setting out works as per contract drawings, ensuring records regarding HSE are complete, carrying out instrumental checks, organising and conducting toolbox talks, compiling ITPs as well as delivering the work safely and to the specified quality without defects.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have previous experience working on Civils and/or MEICA schemes within the water sector. In addition, you will hold an AP Lifting ticket and be able to delegate tasks sufficiently. Previous experience working on major water frameworks is highly desirable. Finally, you will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work well as part of a team.
