Responsibilities: As a Senior Site Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of our residential projects in Edinburgh. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and budget.
- Overseeing and coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Collaborating with project stakeholders, including architects and engineers, to ensure project objectives are met.
- Monitoring and enforcing health and safety standards and quality control measures.
- Providing regular progress reports to senior management and clients.
- Identifying and resolving any challenges or issues that may arise during the construction process.
- Ensuring compliance with building regulations and specifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager with a major house builder.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS card and SMSTS certification.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver residential projects on time and within budget.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
