Senior Site Manager

Job Description

One of the largest, privately owned construction companies in the UK, are currently looking to appoint a Senior Site Manager/ Project Manager to manage the external works packages on a new build secondary school in Flintshire.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assume full responsibility for the successful delivery of externals packages on the project, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgetary constraints, and superior quality standards.
* Supervise and effectively manage all subcontractors and labour on site
* Monitoring overall progress against programmes.
* Liaison with clients and the management team in striving to achieve good standards of quality
* Monitor projects to ensure they have the correct resources to be completed on time and to the required standard
* Monitor the performance of the workforce on a regular basis and provide training and support where necessary
* Ensuring compliance with the Health & Safety Management System
Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven track record of overseeing external work packages on large new build projects
* In depth understanding of construction processes, project management, and health and safety regulations.
* Strong leadership and management skills
* Commercial and financial awareness
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Self-motivated and ambitious
