Your new company is a top ten multidisciplinary construction and infrastructure contractor that has been awarded a project to construct a new supported living facility on a brownfield site in Surrey. Our client is also delivering projects in Horley, Byfleet and Cobham and pre-construction services agreements (PCSA) are controlled at the head office in Surrey.
Your new role is to work under a JCT traditional contract to deliver a design & build a six million pound project. You will be reporting to the visiting Project Manager and act as a number one on site supported by a site management team, Supervisors and Sub-Contractors.
What you\'ll need to succeed as an experienced Senior Site Manager, you will have a good understanding of construction techniques and a HNC/HND (or equivalent) in construction, CIOB, First Aid, CSCS. Preferably CITB 5 day and Temporary works training. Three years Tier 1 experience is essential, you must live in Surrey and having experience leading projects constructing public buildings is desirable. You will have a good understanding of JCT, NEC Contracts and government frameworks. You will have experience of working on public schemes valuing between £6-£75 million and running projects as a lead. You will have experience of working with and managing contractors on complex construction projects and have a good understanding of commercial issues affecting project performance. You will be looking to grow into a role as a Project Manager and have excellent customer-facing experience.
What you\'ll get in return is a permanent job paying £55,000 - 70,000 plus package and benefits of working for a large corporate construction company.
