Senior Site Manager - Residential and Restoration

Salary: Up to GBP50,000 (Depending On Experience)

About the company:

My client has been trading for over 10 years and have become a leading construction management consultancy. They are expecting to start work on a new project of an existing terrace building restoration and refurbishment to a GBP1.5M Co-living space/arrangement at the beginning of February. They have identified the need for a new Senior Site Manager who has experience with refurbishment. This is a full-time permanent position and work on this project is expected to last until April 2025.

Duties:

Daily tasks will change depending on the day and the project but can consist of:

• Monitoring progression on site, and day to day operations.
• Procurement of materials, plant, and equipment on site.
• Assessment of sub-contractors' quality and progress.
• Monitor performance against the contracts program.
• Maintaining a proactive culture towards the health and safety of all aspects of the site.
• Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and subcontractors on each contract
• Attend progress meetings where required
• Reporting directly to company stakeholders on a regular basis with regards to the performance of the contract.

Requirements:

• Experience within the Construction industry is a must.
• Experience refurbishment or restoration projects is a must.
• Full UK driving license.
• Assertive to ensure delivery of targets by the on-site team and trades/labour.
• Ability to prioritise tasks to meet changing business needs.
• Experience of working within established build programs.
