A local authority is looking for a Qualified Senior Social Worker to join their Children's Team.
This is a full-time, permanent position paying up to £44,428.
You'll be joining a Local Authority who believe that children are the future, and their mission is to show kindness, respect and fairness whilst trying to give every child the best possible chance of an amazing life.

Responsibilities for you as a Senior Social Worker:

• Manage a caseload subject to care proceedings and child protection plans.


• Support less experienced staff with court proceedings, core groups and meetings.


• Support Advanced Practitioners to improve Social Work practice.


• Undertake training and development as required.


• Direct work with Children, Young People and Families.

Requirements for you as a Senior Social Worker:

• Social Work Degree / Diploma in Social Work


• Social Work England Registration


• Must hold a full UK driving licence.


• Significant experience within front-line Childrens Social Work


• A working knowledge and understanding of relevant Social Work legislation and regulations.

Location: Gloucestershire

Salary scale: £36,648 to £44,428dependant on experience (Grade 9)
