This role can be office-based, hybrid or completely remote, depending on where you are based.
Role Overview:
We're seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team at Linkable initially on a part-time basis with the opportunity to join in a more permanent way in the future.
As an integral member of our small, cross-functional development team, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding the entire software development life cycle, from initial ideation to deployment.
Our collective goal is to pioneer solutions that redefine the digital marketing and e-commerce space, delivering sustained value to our users.
As a Full Stack Developer at Linkable, you'll need to be proficient in various front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, databases, APIs, and third-party libraries. You'll be responsible for taking ownership of projects and shaping our software solutions to meet the evolving needs of our users.
Key role objectives:
Work across the full stack, building highly scalable solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth
Develop new features and infrastructure in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements
Assume ownership of new projects, from conceptualisation to testing and deployment
Ensure application performance and uptime, maintaining high standards for code quality and application design
Work with agile development methodologies, always adhering to best practices and being open to continued learning opportunities
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the development team and product manager to formulate ideas for software solutions.
Work with the wider team to consider and fulfill approved requests for features and improvements to the software.
Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design.
Further develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software.
Create security and data protection settings.
Build features and applications with a mobile-responsive design.
Write technical documentation.
Collaborate remotely across Slack, Linear, and Google Meets.
Requirements and skills:
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
Experience developing desktop and mobile applications
Familiarity with common stacks
Knowledge of multiple front-end and back-end languages and libraries (e.g. Svelte, HTML/ CSS, Go, Typescript,)
Familiarity with databases, web servers and UI/UX design (e.g PostgreSQL)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Excellent attention to detail, debugging and optimisation skills
Organizational skills
An analytical mind
Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field
