As a Senior Software Engineer your goal is to design and build great, high-quality software to delight our users.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into functional, high-performance software solutions. Be adept at writing clean, efficient code, conducting rigorous testing, and continuously improving software quality. You will contribute to system scalability, security, and innovation while adhering to best practices and industry standards.
The role involves problem-solving, staying updated on emerging technologies, and delivering user-centered solutions that drive business objectives.
What you’ll do…
- Build user interfaces and client-side (B2B and B2C) functionality using technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend frameworks (i.e. Vue.js).
- Develop server-side logic, databases, and APIs using technologies like C#, Python, Java etc., ensuring data handling, security, and server performance.
- Design and implement the architecture of the entire software systems, considering how frontend and backend components interact and scale.
- Database design, optimisation, and data storage, including SQL, to ensure data integrity and efficiency.
- Write unit tests, integration tests, and performance quality assurance to identify and resolve issues in both frontend and backend components.
- Work closely with cross functional teams, collaborating with designers and product managers, taking part in some project management tasks to deliver complete and functional software solutions.
