The Lead Software Engineer in Test will work with agile teams to design, build and bring to the next level our automation test capability. This role collaborates closely with other Developers, Designers, Testers, and Product Owners to ensure the successful deployment of effective product solutions that align with the company's commercial goals.

As Lead Software Engineer in Test you will be a key enabler in various stream aligned teams to turn manual tests into fast and reliable continuous integration quality assurance pipelines. You will be the glue in the test pyramid making sure reliability is at the forefront when testing end to end and high quality maintainable code will be the basis of our test scripts and framework.

You will serve as role model and enabler for other QAs deployed in our teams, organise knowledge sharing sessions, upskilling our manual QA capabilities and be hands on on multiple teams and projects to unblock and deliver top quality QA pipelines.

You understand and know how to create mature CI/CD pipelines running technologies like Cypress or Puppeteer in a dockerized fashion. You know how to collaborate with software and DevOps engineers. You are obsessed with automation and running faster and you live and breathe github actions to enable that. You will lead a group of experienced manual and automation QA to bring our testing capability to the next level!

Key responsibilities:

• You’ll optimise the tests for modern high performance real-time cloud-native apps that enable airlines, fuel suppliers and airports optimise aviation fuel operations and accountability across the whole lifecycle
• These apps are fully connected and updated in real-time with a set of proprietary mobile apps for both pilots and airport ground handlers, facilitating all stakeholders involved to use data to always make the best decisions
• You’ll build dynamic and modular test suites for backend services and mobile applications.
• You’ll ship high quality code, fully tested (producing functional and e2e tests)
• You’ll play a key role in one of our multiple product teams together with our outstanding product, design and other engineers contributing across the full development cycle

Person
If you have the following experience then you may be the Lead Software Engineer in Test we need:

Technical

• Experience with Docker, Kuberneetees, GCP
• Strong Experience with Jenkins, CircleCI, Github Actions and CI/CD
• Experience with testing and creating automation for Mobile Applications
• Experience with Javascript, Cypress, Puppeteer, k6
• Past experience as Software Engineer will be highly beneficial
