Senior Software Engineer

Seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in developing real-time safety critical powertrain systems for automotive applications. No sponsorship available.

Responsibilities:

• Develop embedded C code from MATLAB Simulink diagrams.
• Integrate C code using IBM Rational ClearCASE or Plastic SCM.
• Perform static analysis of C code using QAC to meet standards.
• Verify code through peer review, testing, and analysis.
• Conduct software integration reviews and testing.
• Debug using Lauterbach and use data acquisition systems for calibration.

Skills: Required:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in real-time safety critical embedded systems using C.
• Familiarity with Matlab-Simulink blocks.
• HND or degree in Software Engineering or Electronics.
• Configuration management with IBM ClearCASE or similar tools.

Desired:

• Automotive engineering background.
• Understanding of CAN, UDS, and J1939 protocols.
• Experience with Tier 1 suppliers in the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in CAN Tools, CCP calibration tools, Jira, and Vector tools.
• Knowledge of PERL, Python, AutoSAR, ASPICE, ISO26262.
