Seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in developing real-time safety critical powertrain systems for automotive applications. No sponsorship available.
Responsibilities:
- Develop embedded C code from MATLAB Simulink diagrams.
- Integrate C code using IBM Rational ClearCASE or Plastic SCM.
- Perform static analysis of C code using QAC to meet standards.
- Verify code through peer review, testing, and analysis.
- Conduct software integration reviews and testing.
- Debug using Lauterbach and use data acquisition systems for calibration.
Skills: Required:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in real-time safety critical embedded systems using C.
- Familiarity with Matlab-Simulink blocks.
- HND or degree in Software Engineering or Electronics.
- Configuration management with IBM ClearCASE or similar tools.
Desired:
- Automotive engineering background.
- Understanding of CAN, UDS, and J1939 protocols.
- Experience with Tier 1 suppliers in the automotive industry.
- Proficiency in CAN Tools, CCP calibration tools, Jira, and Vector tools.
- Knowledge of PERL, Python, AutoSAR, ASPICE, ISO26262.
