Senior Software Engineer

I am working with a renowned SAAS provider in the search for a Senior Software Engineer.
Your new role

• Work as part of multi-functional project teams to ensure quality is driven into the heart of the development process from requirements definition to delivery.
• Developing and maintaining full stack applications and services.
• Understand, utilise, design, and develop cloud deployable services.
• Understand the use and implementation of modern software design patterns and practices and their applicability to our applications and services.
• Understand the components of the application infrastructure and how best to leverage them in our applications and services.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications and services.
• Be a proponent for best practice, efficiency, and culture within the engineering team.
• Be a code reviewer and approver.
• Build, maintain, and leverage CI / CD processes pipelines to deploy our products and services.
• Diagnose and fix issues within our applications and services.
• Maintain code and write automated tests to prove and ensure quality.
• Participate in design and planning sessions.
• Create and maintain appropriate documentation.
• Identify and keep abreast of new technical concepts in software development.
• Share your discoveries and knowledge with the wider engineering team.
• Collaborate with team members during the development lifecycle.
• Mentor junior members of the team up to your level.
• Identify your training and development needs and undertake appropriate training as required and agreed with your line manager.

What you\'ll need to succeed
Strong technical background and the ability to communicate and understand technical and non-technical information
Understand, utilise, design, and develop cloud deployable services.
Understand the use and implementation of modern software design patterns and practices and their applicability to our applications and services.
Understand the components of the application infrastructure and how best to leverage them in our applications and services.
