Remote role - with occasional travel to York office
Senior Software Engineer’s Core Duties
- Develop information systems, and design, debug, and install software solutions
- Identify operational feasibility through problem definition and solution development
- Work with the Projects and IT teams in the UK and internationally
- Follow software development lifecycle
- Demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, diagrams, flowcharts and clear code
- Protect operations by keeping information confidential
Senior Software Engineer’s Skills Required
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar Software Engineering role
- Strong knowledge of ASP.NET Core, Web API and C#
- Great front-end skills in Angular, Vue or similar
- SQL experience in MSSQL or MySQL
- Experience writing clean and easy to understand code
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving ability
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Work autonomously
