Your New Role
As a Senior Solicitor, you will have the opportunity to work closely with Senior Managers and Legal Managers, supporting them in supervising and training teams of Solicitors, Trainees, and Legal Analysts. You will be responsible for managing your own fee-earning workload, including complex cases, and supervising the junior legal team on day-to-day fee-earning projects. You will also support Managers with project management of large-scale document reviews, pre-trial support, and customer file reviews or claims assessments.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Essential
- Qualified solicitor or barrister in England and Wales or Northern Ireland (candidates from other common law jurisdictions will be considered).
- 4+ years of post-qualification experience gained working in a litigation/disputes environment.
- Strong analytical ability, coupled with sound judgement and an ability to provide solutions to challenges.
- Strong IT literacy, including an aptitude for learning (and becoming proficient in) the use of software and IT applications.
Desirable
- Experience working in a commercial legal environment, ideally a private practice law firm.
- Knowledge and experience of legal work for the Disputes practice group.
- Experience of managing project teams, including direct reports.
