SalaryA unique opportunity has become available for Qualified Solicitors/Barristers to join a major Private Sector Organisation in the Utilities industry.
This is a great time to join our client, as they are experiencing significant growth and have amazing Projects/Programmes currently on-going and in the pipeline.
As Senior Environment Solicitor, you will report to the Head of Legal and provide legal advice, analysis and support to the business functions:
* Wide range of BAU environmental and planning legal matters;
* Assisting with legal aspects of water resource management
* Supporting the Water for Life Hampshire (and related) programme (this is a major programme that relates to water supply demands in Hampshire)
Person Specification:
* Qualified solicitor/barrister with post-qualification experience in environmental and planning law and practice (ideally not less than 5 years PQE, but other relevant experience would be considered).
* Previous experience working on environment and planning issues essential.
* Knowledge of statutory and environmental regulations within the UK water industry
