About The Role

Swansea University is seeking a Senior Solution Developer specialising in data to join our Digital Solutions team within the Digital Services directorate. This role is central to enhancing our digital functionalities across the university.

The university has embarked on a major project to reimplement its on-prem Student Records system (Tribal SITS) in order to be cloud-ready. As a Senior Solution Developer on this project, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of this system, ensuring that it meets current and future academic and operational needs.

You will be involved in the migration of data to our new Student Records system and the integration to and from other university systems. Your expertise will guide the project, ensuring that all digital solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with the university's high standards.

Essential Experience:

We are specifically looking for candidates who possess substantial experience with data migration and integration tools such as SSIS and Mulesoft. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and managing digital solutions with these tools, demonstrating an ability to navigate their complexities and leverage their capabilities to meet project objectives.

As an inclusive and welcoming workplace, we value people for their skills regardless of their background. Applications are welcome in Welsh and will not be treated less favourably than those submitted in English.

We have an under-representation of women and would particularly welcome applications from women for this position. We also have an under representation of individuals from ethnic minority backgrounds and would encourage applications from these groups. Appointments will always be made on merit.
