Your role includes participating in special events, handling customer feedback, and training new team members. You will work 5 out of 7 days per week between Monday and Saturday. Sodexo and our clients are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults within a regulated activity. This role will require applicants to undergo screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and/ or Disclosure Scotland.  What you’ll doTo manage the preparation and presentation of all meal services at the required times and to the required standard.To prepare all food with due care and attention, particularly regarding customers’ dietary requirements: for example, nut, dairy or wheat allergies.Ensure that all legal and company regulations regarding hygiene, health and safety are complied with.  To ensure all work areas and surfaces are clean and tidy as is always practical especially at the end of day/shift.To actively contribute towards the menu creation and developmentTo assist when required in ordering, receiving, checking, and storing deliveries as requested.Promote a friendly working relationship with colleagues.Promote a good company image to customers and guests and use positive customer service practices. What you bring: Proven experience in managing and leading a catering function. Industry insight external catering developments and innovationsExperienced in adhering to company initiatives. Proven ability in communicating at different levels.Strong communication skillsExperience working in a standards /compliance environment. Relevant qualification and training IT literateWhat we offer: Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
