The role of Senior Strategic Marketer will be to define, develop, and execute high-impact marketing campaigns to high priority new business targets. Working as part of a wider strategic team, this role requires experience in various B2B strategies, including a good understanding of Account Based Marketing, new business and customer engagement and growth strategies to enable revenue growth. A focus of this role will be to apply this strategic approach to managing key business objectives in the USA and Ireland market. The Senior Strategic Marketing Manager will take responsibility for defining and managing the strategic approach to lead generation in both markets, working with stakeholders across the marketing department, Sales, and the senior leadership team.

This is an exciting role for an experienced marketer to flex their creative muscles and build engaging programmes to highly targeted audiences. An analytical eye for data is key as this role will need a strong understanding of how to identify market opportunities and track campaign performance. Collaboration with stakeholders to aide campaign delivery and execution is required both with internal and external stakeholders. Campaign planning, and strategy development, along with the skills to communicate these to wider teams is also essential. This role will be given a wealth of marketing resource to create tailored and personalised content for their highly targeted campaigns, so creativity and passion is key.

  • Become a brand and product advocate to best leverage our offer and creative new ways to engage our target market with what we offer
  • Challenge our processes and approach to develop our marketing strategies and engagement plans.
  • Lead strategy vision and use marketing approach to best target key areas with tailored marketing programmes.
  • Leverage our brand reputation to secure our place in the market and use it for business growth.
  • Manage and support your direct reports to create collaborative campaigns that are driven by multiple stakeholders.
  • Use your eye for detail to be critical of our data and determine the best approach and opportunities for business growth.
  • Report, present and be an advocate of our campaign plans and performance to company wider stakeholders.
  • Creation of tailored assets across collateral, web, email and social to generate demand.

Key skills:

  • Team player with strong communication skills and experience in collaboratively working with stakeholders.
  • Strong project management, time management, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and develop new strategies and approaches.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams.
  • CRM/marketing automation background, preferably Salesforce and Marketo.
  • Experience with ABM strategies and creating tailored, highly targeted campaigns.
  • Proactive self-starter, demonstrating high initiative and critical thinking.
  • Proven ability to think strategically, but with exceptional attention to detail in execution.
  • Extensive experience working with account-based marketing programs and large account selling teams.
